Test Infrastructure Technical Lead at Collabora Full Time

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and identify areas of improvement for existing upstream Continuous Integration systems.
  2. Implement the CI system by integrating required dependencies, building code at test, deploying it to the device under testing, executing tests, and distributing and presenting results.
  3. Understand client needs and reconcile time constraints, available technologies and resources, and Open Source best practices.
  4. Define technical approach/architecture of a project and maintain proper documentation.
  5. Make day-to-day technical decisions for a project and align them with the overall strategy.
  6. Provide leadership and exemplary representation within the Open Source community.
  7. Act as primary point of contact during client calls for technical matters.
  8. Own the estimation process and write thorough technical proposals.
  9. Represent Collabora at conferences and trade shows to demonstrate and promote leadership in the open-source arena.

Required Skills:

  1. Good understanding of Continuous Integration systems.
  2. Experience with Web Services Architecture and Implementation.
  3. Experience with GitLab CI/CD and/or GitHub Actions.
  4. Experience with Python and Python Web frameworks such as Django, Flask, FastAPI etc.
  5. Knowledge of open-source development methodologies and relevant open-source communities.
  6. Good English language skills (both verbal and written).
  7. Ability to work and communicate in a fully distributed environment, completely online.

Desirable Skills:

  1. Familiarity with the upstream Linux kernel development workflow.
  2. Embedded development experience (firmware, bootloaders, kernel, BSP).
  3. SysAdmin/DevOps experience.
  4. Fluency with Kubernetes.
