Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Use the end-to-end design process for new product features and enhancements, from concept ideation to final visual design.
- Apply design thinking to spark discourse and solve problems effectively.
- Collaborate closely with product managers to define product requirements, prioritize features, and align on project timelines.
- Partner with the UX Research team to conduct user research and usability testing, gaining insights into user behaviors, needs, and pain points.
- Develop user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate design concepts and interactions effectively.
- Ensure design feasibility and maintain a high level of polish in the final product by collaborating with engineers.
- Strive for design excellence and contribute to the evolution of G-P’s design system.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in product design, preferably in the SaaS B2B industry.
- A portfolio demonstrating problem-solving skills, innovative thinking, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Framer, Rive, etc.
- Understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions to stakeholders.
- Experience working in an agile environment and iterating quickly based on user feedback.
- Comfortable crafting and coordinating ideation workshops.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
