Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing (80%):

• Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and contractor payroll accurately and on time using Paylocity.
• Review and verify timecards, overtime, deductions, and other payroll-related information.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data in Paylocity.
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll-related issues.
• Communicate with employees regarding payroll concerns.

Compliance (10%):

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax requirements.
• Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and best practices.

Administrative (10%):

• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing.
• Proficiency in Paylocity or similar HRIS/payroll system.
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations and tax laws.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:

• Additional education in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
