Patient Care Advocate (Remote Opportunity) Full Time

Job Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls to educate members about Amplifon Hearing Health Care (AHHC) program features and insurance benefits.
• Review and verify health plan benefits for insurance eligibility and information.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Amplifon’s information management and telephone systems.
• Schedule initial examination appointments and follow-up after-care appointments, ensuring accurate documentation in the information management system.
• Respond promptly to inquiries through various channels such as webchat, emails, and text messages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) for multi-step authentication processes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with patients, colleagues, and vendors.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of the hearing healthcare industry is desirable.
• Technical savvy with modern technology, particularly computers, for productivity enhancement.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Previous customer service experience.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 10:30am – 7pm CST.
