Designing and developing new products, as well as evolving our existing products—this may take multiple forms including research, architecture, coding, testing, tuning/optimization, documentation, etc.

Deep Linux product engineering/development experience (e.g. kernel, embedded, virtualization/VirtualBox, KVM/qemu, Docker, shell scripting)
Development experience with C/C++, Python, Java, React
Networking/storage engineering/development/tuning (e.g. mdadm/lvm2/RAID, Samba, TCP/IP, NAS, file systems like XFS/ZFS, FUSE), especially clustered file systems like Ceph or Gluster tuning/performance
Cloud product engineering/development/ops (e.g. SaaS, IaaS, AWS products like S3 and EC2, Stripe, Splunk, Elastic). Bonus if you’ve taken an on-prem application and migrated it to a full SaaS model.
A great sense of humor, and some intense interest in subjects that most people don’t understand, because those are characteristics of people who usually fit best on our team
