Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Own and work independently on projects across multiple areas from idea to execution.
- Rapidly iterate in a fast-paced environment with a transparent working process.
- Design and deliver detailed user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals.
- Elevate app design quality with excellent design sensibilities and polished execution.
- Mentor and develop junior designers, fostering continuous improvement.
- Build alignment around design decisions with Product Managers and Engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of UX/UI design experience with a proven track record in startups.
- Case studies demonstrating excellent design taste and craftsmanship.
- Driven to create excellent work that pushes design boundaries.
- Positive energy that inspires designers to pursue excellence.
- Ability to tell compelling stories about your work to engage audiences.
- Assertive and proactive in making impactful contributions to product strategy.
- Comfort with ambiguity and adaptable to fast-paced changes.
- Strategic thinker combining creativity with analytical data for design decisions.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills for effective collaboration.
- Proficient in Figma, including auto-layout, component libraries, and prototyping.
- Bonus: Workshop facilitation, accessibility expertise, design systems expertise.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with service design and integrating products with user services.
- Keen eye for emerging design trends and technologies.
- Experience in mentoring and building a design team.
- Ability to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field.
