About the role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced LCL Operations Specialist to join our team. This role requires expertise in managing cross-border shipments between the US and Canada, with a strong focus on cost optimization. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in LCL/LTL operations, warehousing, and handling both sea and air freight. Proficiency in logistics software, excellent communication skills, and experience with Amazon delivery appointments are essential. This is a Full-time Remote role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate LCL shipments, ensuring efficient and timely delivery.
• Oversee the booking, documentation, and tracking of shipments. Customer correspondence is expected to be at its best.
• Liaise with carriers, agents, and customers to resolve any issues that arise during the shipping process.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve operational efficiency.
• Optimize costs related to LTL operations, demonstrating a clear understanding of carriers in the US.
• Manage warehousing operations effectively, ensuring seamless handling of both sea and air shipments.
• Handle Amazon delivery appointments using Carrier Central and ATS, coordinating with Amazon-partnered carriers such as UPS.
• Utilize knowledge about load boards and manage Amazon deliveries efficiently.
• Work effectively in a remote environment, liaising comprehensively with co-workers.

• Must have experience of cross-border shipments US-CAN and vice versa.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in LCL/LTL operations with a proven record of cost optimization.
• At least 3 years of experience in warehousing operations.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping freight forwarding, handling both sea and air shipments in the US.
• Proven experience with Amazon delivery appointments and Amazon-partnered carriers, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• A good team player who can work effectively in a remote environment.
