What we’re looking for…
We are looking for a highly experienced eCommerce Business Development Manager (BDM), who has a strong level of expertise within the field and a proven record of driving sales within Amazon, Ocado or similar online operators.
The eCommerce BDM is responsible and accountable for sales and development of all AG Barr brands on Amazon, Ocado and other Online Marketplaces. The BDM will retain full responsibility for their customers but will also provide support, direction and development for their direct reports (currently the eCommerce Business Development Executive).
The focus of the role is to grow brand presence as well as profitability on eCommerce marketplaces. The scope of the position covers the planning, development and evolution of our ecommerce trading strategies with the Digital & eCommerce Business Unit and the Brand Hubs. It involves translating this strategy into winning customer plans that cover PPC advertising, promotions, discounts, brand content and marketing as well as managing the accounts to deliver the plans within the agreed Commercial Investment budgets. The BDM will also be responsible for improving metrics on orders, NPD, finance, claims, logistics and delivery which are specific to Amazon.
