Director of Business Development at Rocket Communications, Inc. Full Time

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Oversee business development department and grow commercial/government business.
2. Shape overall business strategy, build business development team.
3. Ensure consistent pipeline of revenue-generating projects.
4. Acquire government contracts, work with DoD, federal agencies.
5. Oversee growth of commercial UX design consulting.
6. Lead RFP responses and contractual agreements.
7. Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies to identify opportunities/risks.
8. Lead and motivate business development team.

Requirements:

1. Successful business development/contract acquisition track record (gov’t and commercial).
2. Extensive experience with large DoD contractors, federal procurement process.
3. Strong network within federal gov’t, including decision-makers/influencers.
4. Knowledge of modern software dev processes, UX principles.
5. 9+ years business development experience.
6. US Citizenship required for DoD Security Clearance.
7. Bonus: 6+ years enterprise systems, USAF/USSF/DoD/IC experience.
8. Bonus: Active DoD Security Clearance.
