Backend Software Engineer (Golang) at Zicasso Temporary

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy highly available and scalable backend systems using Golang.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Optimize performance and scalability of existing systems and infrastructure.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Integrate with external APIs and third-party services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in backend development.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, ideally in multiple languages.
• Proficient in designing, developing, and deploying robust backend systems using either Golang or Java.
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Proficient in designing and optimizing SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with message queues and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control (Git) and automated testing.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Experience in Agile development methodologies is considered a plus.
