Backend Developer (Python – Django) at Levr Full Time

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining APIs for Levr.ai’s web-based platform
• Contributing to data, infrastructure, and cybersecurity projects
• Collaborating with other backend developers to architect data models, develop data analytics insights, and create tools for a pleasant developer experience
• Working directly with the founders and other developers to contribute to the wider product strategy to build Levr.ai’s future

Requirements

• You are comfortable working remotely, with strong communication, ownership, and accountability
• Solid experience in Django Rest Framework (Python)
• Experience building with relational databases (eg Postgres)
• Experience with networking, security, and RBAC systems
• 4+ years of professional developer work experience
• Legally authorized to work in Canada, Levr.ai will not be sponsoring work permits for this role

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with the following:
  • GCP (or AWS or Azure)
  • Docker & Kubernetes
  • Auth0 or other auth systems
  • SQL and other query languages
• Experience in the following architectures and associated tooling:
  • Event-driven architecture
  • Microservice architecture
  • Real-time architecture
• Experience in data lifecycle management
• Experience in statistics and data algorithms
• Affinity for creating documentation and communication/organization systems
• Experience working in an early-stage startup environment
• Knowledge of fintech or demonstrated curiosity around the industry

• Salary range $105,000 to $120,000 (based on experience)
