Back-end Developer (Node.js) Full Time

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient server-side applications using Node.js.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Mentor and support junior developers, fostering their growth and development within the team.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, and deployment.

Mandatory requirements

• Proven experience as a Node.js Developer (5+ years preferred).
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript (ECMAScript 6+).
• In-depth knowledge of Node.js and its frameworks such as Express, Koa, or Hapi.
• Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience in mentoring or leading a team of developers.

Optional requirements

• Experience with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of TypeScript.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, or Jest.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
